Whoa!

16June

Wow, it has been over 10 days since I last posted. I am so sorry for this. My job asked if I would pick up a few more hours because we are low on teachers. So now I work from 6:30 to 2:30. It is really not that bad, and I STILL love my job! Let me see…what has happened in the past 10 days…John has done a bit more than I have. He went white water rafting at sunset. He said that the rafting bit was not all that thrilling, but that the sunset was INCREDIBLE! He treaded through some flood water in the hopes of finding a trail to hike this pretty big mountain that has be taunting him, just outside of town. And he just purchased some really cool hiking pants, so that he will be prepared to climb Longs Peak in about a month. I have been working out a lot, and I love it!! I do about 1 hour of cardio, and some crunches. I also have taken on mowing the lawn…just for the workout. I am getting my hair done on Saturday, which I am excited and also nervous about. I am getting highlights, sweeping bangs, and long layers. It should look stylish and feminine…at least that is what I pray I get! We had south of the border casserole tonight, which is always yummy, and I made my tuna salad, that John is in love with, for lunch. We did our rounds at Sams for bulk items. John is on this food storage kick, and so we have started quite a collection in our basement. We thoroughly cleaned both our cars…which was desperately needed. Next place to tackle is the office, we have a significant amount of filing to do. John and I have been keeping an eye out for things that we want for our 2 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!! Can you believe it??!! I think that he is going to get me a few stainless steel pans, because it is not necessary to use non-stick all the time. Also he is getting me a huge set of glass tupperware…I am over using plastic ones. I am pretty sure that John wants a new flash for his camera! John and I had a little dinner date with a couple named Steve and Christel who lead Kid’s Church, and we have now decided that we will be joining the team. We are really excited. We both love the kiddos, and are excited to be getting out of the nursery and onto some more thoughtful lessons. However, we did definitely enjoy our time in the nursery! We have a softball game tomorrow night, so root for us! Love you and miss you all!! P.S. Things I ADORE right now…..
