Ellie loves Johnny!

Today was a beautiful day! We had an amazing guest speaker at Church. He was an Indian pastor that started a ministry called Mana Ministry. It has thousands of churches, orphanages, and hospitals all around India. His message was deep and thought provoking. It is incredible to believe that a country can be so impoverished that leprosy is still a huge problem. His message set fire to a part of my heart that longs to do missionary work. Then after Church we went over to our friends house to BBQ. It was so nice outside. All the doors in their house were open, you could smell the grill, and hear tons of little children’s voices and footsteps running in and out of the house. It was so relaxing. We had planned on going on a little hike today but ended up staying too long at their house. So I promised Johnny that we would go hiking this Saturday. Along with us we are going to bring both the cameras and have dueling photo shoots. It is going to be a blast. John leaves to go into the field tomorrow. I always get a little sad and anxious. I guess it brings back memories of our dating years when we would have to say goodbye for months on end. I don’t like coming home to an empty house. But, it is so fun when he comes home!
