Well today was a run of the mill day. Work was good as usual. The weather was rather chilly and snowy, but warmed up later in the day. We had baked potatoes for dinner, another one of Johnny’s favorites. Ran a couple of errands…of course with John’s camera riding shotgun with me. In the words of my adorable husband “When you get a new camera there is a rule that it must go everywhere with you for at least the first two months.” So true to form the camera has gone everywhere with us since last Thursday. Tonight I had first aid training…and I passed..YAY! It was extremely easy I must say, but definitely good to know. Well that is all that really happened today. Sometimes uneventful days are great! Hugs to everyone!

Life

30March

Today was GREAT!! We went to our friend’s church today to see their precious little twin boys dedicated. They were so happy and cute! It was such a special day for them. After we ate lunch at this yummy sandwich place called “Wheat Montana,” we went bed shopping. And by “bed shopping” I mean WE GOT A BED!!! YAY!! I am so happy! Now my little home will finally be complete, and ready for me to host all my loved ones. So come and visit! We got the bed that I posted a picture of yesterday. Then tonight we went over to our friends Kendi and Cory’s house for calzones. All and all it was a pretty awesome day. I would never have thought that a bed could make me so happy…oh how life changes.

While we were at Chris and Becky’s they showed us this video. It is so funny and cute and sweet and wonderful! Check it out!

I am back!

29March

Sorry I did not blog yesterday. We went driving around looking at dams and such. John took loads of pictures. I love that my husband has a hobby that he is so passionate and GOOD at. We then closed the evening by grabbing a burger at Fuddruckers. Today we went bed shopping. We are looking for a bed for our guest bedroom. It was a little discouraging at first because everything is so over priced…BUT, we found a bed that we like for a great price. And to my surprise and excitement it can be delivered at the end of this week. This will give me time to do a little decorating before Mom and Dad get here. I am so excited that they are coming!! They will be our first house guests, and they are probably the best house guests a newlywed girl can ask for!! I guess I can’t really call us newlyweds anymore, but we really still feel that way. Well anyway, our small group was cancelled tonight due to the horrible snowy weather. Soooo we are going over to Becky and Chris’ house for dinner and a movie. This is definitely one of my all time favorite things to do. I love hanging out with friends, I love dinner, and I love movies…YAY!! I hope everyone had an incredibly wonderful day!!!

Thank you so much for all your preciously sweet comments. It makes me feel very loved. I am so blessed to have such incredible people in my life. Hugs and love to all of you!

TWINS!!

27March

I watched the twin boys I nanny for, today!! They are so stinkin cute I can hardly stand it. I could be with babies 24/7! John and I watched a movie tonight, called “Maxed Out.” It was about how America is deeply in debt, and what it is doing to the average american. Pretty interesting I must say. Today was fairly routine other than that. We had spaghetti bolognese for dinner, and now we are headed to bed. I hope everyone had an amazingly great day!

Please Pray

26March

Our friend Tim, who was recently married in July to his sweet wife Brittney, found a clot in is leg on Monday. Then today he felt short of breath and light headed. He went to the hospital and they found multiple pulmonary embolisms. They found a few in his lungs and one large one in his right lung. It is a little scary. He is on a Heparin drip for at least 48 hours and then will be on extreme blood thinners for the next 6 months. His poor wife was in Tulsa visiting family, and had to fly home all alone worrying about her hubby. Please have them in your prayers. Pray that Tim’s body will break down the clots efficiently and effectively. I love you guys.

I cannot believe that it is Wednesday already! This week is flying by. Why is it that some weeks fly while others seem to stand still. I mean this week has not held anything spectacular, and yet it seems that time has raced by. John and I have discovered online shopping on Amazon. We bought a yearly subscription so that we do not have to pay shipping. So last night we sat in bed ordering all sorts of exciting stuff like bath soap, cleaning supplies, and food. It is really neat, it comes to you in 2 days and you can buy in bulk with a preset order that comes to you in 1,3, or 6 month intervals. I am also doing a Beth Moore bible study that I already feel is stretching me beyond belief. She is truly amazing. John is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his new baby…the D300. I am going over to my friend Kendi’s house to watch America’s Next Top Model. I know it is lame, but I love seeing beautiful women! It is a beautiful day today, and poor Stanley cannot go outside. This is because he loves to escape and scare mommy and daddy by running down the street chasing the UPS truck. So…John is going to the hardware store right now to see if he can find something to keep Stanley from finding himself on the other side of the fence. Well I should probably start on dinner. We are having marinated hamburger patties mashed red potatoes and corn…one of Johnny’s favorites! Hope everyone is having an amazing day!

Harooo!

25March

Hello loved ones! I have decided that since John and I are so far away, that we should have a blog that lets people know how we are doing. I should hope that this inspires others to do so, because I love love love to know how everyone is doing. For those that do not know; John and I have moved to Great Falls, Montana. It has been a journey. We got here in June and have been exploring our new surroundings as often as we can. It is amazingly beautiful in this part of the US… and Canada as we have found out! We have some great new friends and an amazing church that we are falling more and more in love with. Due to cold weather we have been playing a lot of racquetball, which is a lot of fun and pretty funny when I hit myself in the throat with the ball.

The puppy dogs are great! They were not too thrilled about the few days that we had that were -20 degrees, but other than that they have been crazy little beasts running a muck in our backyard.

John is a Missileer and has started pulling three day alerts. It is all very new and interesting. I am so proud of how hard he works, and how he still manages to be the most wonderfully loving and precious husband ever! I finally have a job after months of unemployment due to moving around and getting settled. I work at a childcare center called Bright Horizons. It is a corporate childcare facility that has centers all over america. They are hired by large businesses, such as IBM, to build an on base center where their employees can send there children. I am a teacher in the infant room, and loving it!! The babies are precious. I am now convinced that I will not be surprised by anything when I have babies…haha.

John and I are finally settled and loving it!! And as for a more current post, which the rest of them should be like, John and I had our date night tonight. It was fun! We went to our NEW Chili’s…hahaha!! We shared a steak, and then drove around drinking our Starbucks and looking at cute little houses! Plus what is even more exciting is that John just purchased a new camera…a Nikon D300 that he has literally been dreaming about for the past month. So expect some pretty neat pictures to show up pretty soon. Well…that is about all there is to tell. I miss you all terribly!!

Love, Me
